The nature is a treasure chamber!

Imagine the feeling of sowing a nice warm sheepskin blanket- that you share with somebody on a starry winter night. Needle bind a hat with wool died from natures plants. Design something new out of your grandmothers old rags, and make a knife handle out of a burl you found while you were on a walk in the woods. Give away your laundry basket, and make your own instead! In the course of the year we will draw inspiration from craft history, trips, presentations, local crafts and nature of course! We take a study trip, and we make a presentation in Rissa with our finest products. May is a month long intensive where you will be able to go deeper and expand your knowledge with the crafts of your choice.

Our Goals:
-that you will get the chance to get something out of taking part in the whole process
-to stimulate you interests to develop your realm of interest
-to learn handwork techniques that are no longer common
-to find your own form of expression
